Message from Stuart.

Isaiah 26: 20: “Go my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a while until his wrath has passed by.”

We are facing hard times, as did the people of Isaiah’s time.  But just as the people of God were going in to their homes and closing their doors behind them, verse 21 says: “The Lord is coming out of his dwelling.” If we use this time at home well, if we pray, reflect on the Bible and prepare ourselves for the world after the virus, we will come back together stronger in God’ love. Isa 27:6 says “In days to come, Jacob will take root, Israel [and New Zealand and Taiwan] will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.”

New Zealand And Taiwan are already admired for the way we have handled this crisis. Let us go further and make sure we are models of how to face a crisis calmly and thoughtfully. But, for now, pray for each other, ring each other up, especially the elderly. Make sure they and your close neighbours have what they need. If they are unable to go for the supermarket or pharmacy, look at all the government and health guidelines and see if you can go for them. Deliver their things wisely and cheerfully and make sure you smile – from more than 2 meters!. God bless!! Stuart
